    Dr. Kristyn Hunter

    Kristyn joined the practice in 2010 after graduating from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has previous experience with the 'reptile guru' - Dr. Mader, in the Florida Keys. She also studied at an exclusive exotic animal hospital in Washington DC and worked for an exotic animal specialty hospital prior to veterinary school.
    Recently, Dr Hunter completed her Master's Certificate in Veterinary Forensics with the University of Florida, and is one of very few in the state with this training. With this additional degree, she helps local animal control and sheriff's department investigate animal cruelty cases. 

    Pets and Family: Lorelei (Daughter)  Lena (pit bull), and too many plants!

    Hobbies: Anything to do with Michigan State University and sports! Playing and watching basketball, volleyball, softball, football, and bowling. Loves reading and checking out antique shops.

    Valerie

    Valerie joined the practice in 1997.

    Pets and Family: John (Husband), Griffin (Chocolate lab), Squirt, Bombay, and Cub (cats).

    Hobbies: Traveling, hiking, camping, kayaking, geocaching, and reading. 

  • Taylor

    Taylor joined the practice in 2015 after graduating from Brown Mackie College with a degree in Veterinary Technology.

    Pets and Family: Rocky (Husband)  Layne (daughter) Rocky and Ryker (step sons) Dogs - Daryl D. Justice (Chocolate Lab), Maya(Shepherd/Beagle mix).  Cats - Roscoe, Lexy, and Boozer.  Horses - Mister, Patriot, Ice and Bullet.  Goats- Gunner and Peanut.

    Hobbies: Horseback riding, camping, reading, and showing draft horses at the county fair,  and spending time with family and friends.

    Pets and Family: Tommy(son),  Valkyrie (Beagle), Gamera (cat)

    Hobbies: reading, hiking, and fostering.
